Letter, 1940, June 4, Los Angeles [to] Virgil [Markham, Staten Island, New York] / B[ailey] M[illard]. 1940.

Continues to argue that Markham's admiration for Thomas Lake Harris should not emphasixed. He is not writing an expose. He never understood Markham's fascination for the man as he was "just a cheap imitation of Emanuael Swedenborg." "The whole story of it is better dead and buried, and should never be resurrected." Written on Los Angeles Times letterhead.
